Important Messages Regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Update – 6/22/2020

Due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in both Texas and Brazoria County, we have made the difficult decision to close our lobbies beginning Wednesday, June 24th. We want to be a part of the solution for our community and keep everyone safe and healthy. We will conduct all teller transactions at the drive-thru windows, including Shared Branching, and our hours will not change. You can view the hours at Member Service Representatives can be seen by appointment only, and a mask will be required before entering our building. Please call us at (281) 331-2253 to make an appointment. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation! Stay safe and healthy!

Update – 5/31/2020

Our hours are back to normal as of Monday, June 1st! We will be open Monday – Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM in the lobbies and Monday – Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM in the drive-thru. Please only visit our lobby if necessary; all teller transactions will be available in the drive-thru, including Shared Branching. We will continue limiting the number of people inside. Update – 5/11/2020

Our lobbies have reopened as of Monday, May 11th! We will be open Monday – Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, for both the lobbies and drive-thru, until further notice. Please only visit our lobby if necessary; all teller transactions will be available in the drive-thru. We will be limiting the number of people inside. The contact center (phones) will remain open 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Have a great weekend!

Update – 5/1/2020

Our lobbies will remain closed through Friday, May 8th. All teller transactions are still available at our drive-thru windows.
We will reopen our lobbies on Monday, May 11th, with modified hours. Our branch hours will be Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, for both the lobby and drive-thru. The hours will remain the same on Saturdays, drive-thru only. Alvin is open 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM and Pearland is open 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM. The phones will remain open Monday – Friday from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, as usual.
We appreciate your patience with us, as we try to keep our members, employees, and communities safe. We will be working with limited staff.
Please only come into our lobbies if necessary. Do not come in if you are feeling any symptoms of illness associated with COVID-19. Members are welcome to wear a mask in the branch, but we will ask you to briefly lower the mask to identify yourself for transactions. We will continue offering all teller transactions in the drive-thru, so please utilize the drive-thru as much as possible.

Update – 4/2/2020

As we turn the page on the first quarter of 2020, we find ourselves in a worldwide pandemic known as COVID-19. These are uncertain times, and to do our part, we have temporarily closed our lobbies to encourage social distancing and prevent groups from gathering in our lobbies. We will continue with this through the month of April, in accordance with the guidelines President Trump and the White House Coronavirus Task Force published recently. If anything changes, we will be sure to update you via email, website, and social media forums.

Rest assured, we are still here to serve you and will continue to do so through our drive-thru windows. In addition, we will meet with you by appointment, if you need to access your safe deposit box or speak with a Member Service Representative regarding your account. If you find yourself currently out of work, please don’t hesitate to call us and request a payment skip or two. Your credit union is well positioned to assist your needs. At year end 2019 our net worth ratio was 10.32%. Our regulator, the National Credit Union Administration, considers a credit union to be well capitalized at 7%.

We will get through this together, and we truly value you and your membership. Our Annual Meeting of the Membership was scheduled for late March, and we had to postpone the event. Once we get word that some of the guidelines are being reduced or eliminated, we will look for an appropriate date and send out notification of the event. Please stay safe, and thank you for understanding and doing your part to help our world recover from this pandemic.

Update – 3/20/2020

In an abundance of caution for our members and employees and in accordance with Governor Greg Abbott’s recent recommendations, our lobbies will be closed Monday, March 23rd – Friday, April 3rd. Our drive-thru windows will remain open, and we will conduct normal teller transactions there. Our phone lines will remain open Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. If you need access to your Safe Deposit Box, please call, and we will arrange an appointment for your access. Keep in mind that we will be operating with a limited staff, so please only call or come by for immediate needs. Wait times will likely be increased.

If we see the need to make further changes to our normal operating hours, we will notify by email, our website, and Facebook. Remember, if you need assistance with a loan payment skip, don’t hesitate to let us know. Even though our lobbies are temporarily closed, we are still here for you during these difficult times. Your credit union is financially sound and well capitalized to weather this unprecedented event.

Update – 3/17/2020

Due to the rapidly changing recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and government officials, we are making a couple changes, once again. We will maintain open lobbies at our Alvin and Pearland branches; however, we will be limiting the number of people allowed to enter and gather, per the CDC guidelines to limit gatherings to ten (10) or fewer people. Please, only visit our lobbies if absolutely necessary. Our drive-thru windows are staffed and ready to assist you!

Our Contact Center, Home Banking, Chocolate Bayou Mobile app, Audio Annie (phone response), and our ATMs are all operating as usual and available for you. Please call us to get a login set up or check your account information. You do not need to come in for these types of requests. We are available at (281) 331-2253, Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM.

The annual meeting which was scheduled for Tuesday, March 24th has been canceled. We will provide notice of a new date, once it is safe to make that determination.

Unfortunately, scammers take advantage in times of uncertainty. Currently, they are sending emails about the Johns Hopkins University’s Interactive Coronavirus Dashboard and claim to be from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), but the emails contain a malicious attachment or link. This is launching malware on the victim’s computer. Do not click links or open attachments on unsolicited emails. If you didn’t request the information, it is likely a phishing scam.

At this time, we will continue operations as normal – our offices remain open to assist our members. While we are committed to our members and community, we ask that you only visit our lobbies if necessary. We are happy to assist you with your basic teller transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, etc.) at our drive-thru windows.
