Shared Branching

Chocolate Bayou Credit Union participates in the co-op Shared Branching network, which allows Chocolate Bayou members1 to conduct transactions at nearly 5,000+ participating credit unions across the United States.

To conduct a transaction at a shared branch, you will need:

  • A Valid Photo ID (state-issued driver’s license, state-issued ID, passport or military ID)
  • Your Account Number
  • Your Credit Union’s Name (Chocolate Bayou Credit Union)

Standard Transactions include:

  • Deposits
  • Withdrawals (number and dollar amounts may be limited)
  • Balance Inquiries
  • Loan Payments
  • Transfers
  • Print out of the last 10 account transactions

1: Members with Clean Slate checking accounts do not qualify for Shared Branching.
